Ben responded to our quote request promptly and arranged to come to see us that day to provide us with a quotation, he was friendly and professional and gave us some useful advice. We received the quote the next day and were happy with the cost, as it was what we had in mind. Our installation was booked three weeks later (per our request). The Loft Men arrived promptly, they were tidy, respectful and unobtrusive in our home and in no time had our loft boarded up and the new access hatch installed. I was given full instruction of how to safely secure the ladder and store it away and reassured that if anything was not in order they would gladly come back to fix it…We have been up and down into the loft numerous times since having it boarded and wonder why we didn’t do it it sooner.

It is without any hesitation at all that I would like to recommend the Loft Men for any work that you are thinking of having done in the near future. Our house is a 1930’s build and the loft had some basic flooring and a broken light. Right from the initial visit from Ben to look at our loft to the completion of the job I would have to say the service was excellent for the following reasons. * Informative company website * Quote arranged to our schedule * Helpful feedback with practical information during visit. * The job took place on a Sunday as requested. * 8am start and 3pm finish on a very hot September day * Kept up to date with the progress * Saved us some money by changing the hatch plans on the day. * Cleaned the area spotless on job completion * Full inspection of the loft and instructions on use of the ladder etc. * After payment an e-mail was sent by Ben to check we were happy. * We are now fully using it for storage and other practical purposes. The insulation is very noticeable now in that the house is warmer and no dripping water on the beams as was the case before. It is fully dry in the loft now and access is easy and practical.

I first contacted The Loft Men through their website in late 2015 and was called by Ben soon after who arranged to come round to provide a quote later that week. Ben took a good amount of time understanding what I needed and conducted a thorough survey of the loft to present me with a range of options. After agreeing what I wanted the team were back around within about a week to do the job and I must say I was incredible impressed with the quality of the installation, the courteous manner of the team and overall price and service that I received. My loft had been an under-utilised space for years but after the work the Loft Men carried out (which involved full boarding and installation of a pull down ladder) it is now a fantastic storage area which has enabled me to free up loads of space in the rest of the house.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Loft Men, a really professional but friendly company to deal with who delivered high quality work for a good price and in a manner which suited me perfectly in terms of timing.

We had a no obligation quote on a Sunday afternoon when convenient for us, it was a thorough assessment with details of the work and cost involved written down and left with us. We felt very at ease with Ben while he was in our home assessing the job. The Loftmen always answered any emails I sent within a reasonable time frame. They confirmed the evening before the work was due to be undertaken, they were were still on course for the time and told me the names of the men that would be coming to do the work. When they arrived, (on time) they were both very chatty / friendly guys, who seemed very in control of the work to be completed in the time frame, which put me at ease straight away.
